After several years spending time visiting their sons in the Bozeman area, the McCormick’s found land and decided to build a home. Through the Place Envision process, they shared their desire for something elegant, efficient, designed for their active lifestyle, and plenty of space for family and building furniture. Their insights led Place to design a single story home with a gracious entry colonnade, covered exterior areas to further enjoy the setting, and a lot of natural light. Basic rural forms set the design elements combined with ceiling planes that accent the view of the Bridgers, creating internal drama and intimacy.
