The work at Mountain Sky Guest Ranch in Paradise Valley, Montana, involved creating a master plan for future development, upgrading the main lodge, and creating general enhancements of the existing facilities.
Unfortunately, due to an aging structure, the majority of the lodge had to be demolished and re-built. The new design drew from the details and building shapes of the historic facility to blend well with the remaining original ranch structures. The new construction enhanced the historic architecture, provided invisible infrastructure for support, and integrated modern functional components. The long-term master plan was created to provide non-intrusive development for future changes and growth.
Mountain Sky Guest Ranch has become one of the premier guest ranches in the northwest United States, serving up to 70 guests at a time. The classic Western romance embodied in the building styles, colors, textures and site offers visitors lasting visual and tangible experiences.
